We gave the VDL H2 range extenders a second life as mobile generators. After a complete overhaul, including a new converter and customized software, these units are ready to deliver 80 kVA of zero-emission power on demand. Designed as standalone systems, they provide a reliable, sustainable, and flexible energy solution wherever it is needed.

For light-duty BEV commercial vehicles, we have developed a modular hydrogen range extender that charges the batteries while driving. This range extender allows a full day of zero-emission transport without the need for intermediate grid charging.

The generator is based on a hydrogen internal combustion engine (ICE) with output options of 22, 44, or 66 kWh, and features a modular high-pressure hydrogen storage system.

We have successfully tested this concept during our H2 Roadtrip and are now ready for delivery.
